While robberies are down in the Brooklyn, NY, the 94th precinct remains vigilant and is putting out some tips on not being a target this Holiday Season. It seems that that thieves are targeting people with visible property, like a cell phone, and in particular women. The precinct deputy inspector, Dennis Fulton, offered this important advice:

“Keep your wallet in your front pocket. Have you ever seen the ‘Seinfeld’ episode where George won’t empty his wallet? I look ridiculous, but I’m paranoid. When I’m on the train, I’m constantly checking my front pocket.”
